The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival - 6/13/14Bonnaroo is only a week away and the food options are better than ever this year. Spicy pie is one Nashville.com’s favorites at the farm but check these welcome additions:

GREAT THINGS TO EAT/DRINK AT BONNAROO
1. The 5-course menu found within the BonnaRoots community dinners;
things taste better when they’re for a good cause. Every bite from
this meal goes to Eat for Equity and OxFam. Plus all ingredients are
sourced within 200-miles and are Southern Heritage inspired, meaning
even the salad does it right: Greens with Benton’s Aged Country
Ham, Pickled Eggs, and Herb Buttermilk Dressing _*this is a ticketed
event held onsite at the festival. Top tier tickets are $75 and
include a sustainability goody bag. General tickets are $50.
Volunteer opportunities are also available for the event so that the
dinners remain accessible to all interested. Tickets are still
available online for dinners on June 12 and June 13th; June 11th’s
dinner has sold out.
2. The Disco Inferno Dog from gastroPod’s new Silent Disco Fever
Menu, adjacent to the Silent Disco Tent and cooked from a
refurbished 1962 airstream
3. Bacon Buns (a roll with a full piece of Bentons bacon drizzled with maple icing) within BaconLand
4. Meatballs from Eatbox, within the Food Truck Oasis
5. A grass-fed, farm raised burger from Meadow Maid, within the Food
Truck Oasis
6. A glazed Donought from The Amish Baking company
7. A creative poutine like Hangover Poutine with bacon, egg, cheese
and gravy from Poutine Your Mouth, within the Food Truck Oasis
8. BBQ Sandwich and Fried Dill Pickles from Prater’s BBQ, a local
favorite
9. Crispy Tots and the Goy Vey with bacon, salami and sweet n’ spicy
cream cheese from The Cracked Truck, within The Food Truck Oasis
10. Cream Puffs from Puffs of Doom in wild flavors like Bacon Ranch
Mac and Cheese.
11. To wash all of this down, a crisp beer from one of the 25
American breweries within Broo’ers Festival; we love Old Shed
Brewing from Tullahoma, TN (just 12 miles from Manchester)
